Main Description
While development testing is usually a part of the total development process, there may be specific requirements from within the testing in respect of the infrastructure. Defining this has the aim of clarifying the requirements at as early a stage as possible, so that appropriate measures may be adopted. Specific requirements may include, for example, links to adjacent systems, authorisations to be able to monitor, the necessary number of test databases or the ability to manipulate the system parameters. Any necessary test tools are also identified here. For more information on test tools that can be used in the development tests, see Types Of Test Tools.
